Driver Intelligence Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number: 04800529 and has its registered office at: Ground Floor Offices, 6 Kings Row, Armstrong Road, Maidstone, Kent, ME15 6AQ.  We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office as ‘Data Controllers’ under registration number: Z2382261.


Information we may collect from you

We may collect and process the following data about you:

  • Information that you provide by filling in forms on our site and/or verbally. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our site, completing our on-line forms, declarations, assessments, courses, subscribing to additional services, posting material, etc. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our site.
  • Information received from third parties about you. This includes information provided by regulatory authorities such as the DVLA and/or other sources such as vehicle insurers, etc.
  • If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence. We may also ask you to complete surveys for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.
  • Details of your visits to our site including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, and the resources that you access.

  • We will not use your information for marketing purposes without separate prior consent.
  • We will not use your information outside of our normal business operations and it will never be sold to third parties.

Retention of your information

As a general rule, we will not retain personal information for any longer than is necessary.  Any personal information in our possession will be safeguarded in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA) and the General Data Protection Regulations (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

You have the right to request a copy of any information that is held about you. This is known as a ‘subject access request’ and means that, under the DPA/GDPR, you can make a request to any organisation processing your personal data.

You may request access to, correction of, erasure of and restrictions on, your personal data.  This may prevent us from performaing the services we have agreed to provide to you.

You may instruct us to provide you with any personal information we hold about you, provision of such information will be subject to the supply of appropriate evidence of your identity.  You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data, however we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is unfounded, repetitive or excessive.  Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.
